A lot of companies have their own wireless networks in which they manage for company iPhones. While they also have a guest network for visitors or guests. This, GUEST WIFI is also used for employees who do not have a company iPhone and can save the employee money on their data plan, and or not having them miss calls if they're sitting in a bad spot for cell / data reception. For major companies a lot of them give out iPhones which are have profile managements such as Mobile Iron or Airwatch. These mobile profile management tools allow company iPhones to connect to the company WiFi instantly in which ever company office they may be in. This, for me is an easier option and if you have the ability to have company email on your iPhone I would do it. For those who dont, then your left asking for the last monthly, or every other month.

Alot of IT departments won't give out the Guest password unless it's for visitors and been approved. This is for security purposes. As you can tell not every IT Department running reports wants to see guest users using tons of bandwidth on Snpchat, Whatsapp, Facebook, Etc. It can be cubmersome and annoying and lead to guest network not being made available and or employees being written up or let go. Some companies have a zero tolerance policy for such activities but there is a way around that - which you can read in our "Installing a VPN On Your iPhone". This will keep you out of trouble with IT and keep you in their good graces, because tracking will become tiring and not worth it and even if they block you - you can always change servers on the VPN and still get back on The Companies Guest Networt.

So how does one ind the guest wifi password. Theres multiple ways, one being having someone whose IT and your buddy buddy with or - an admin for a department or VP. Whenever a company changes the Guest WiFi they always send out an email with the new password and the admins always have first call and will more than likely give it out. I would hold off reconnecting back to WiFi right away, once they've changed it - wait a day or two otherwise they meaning IT start to see repeat offenders and can track you down based on the ACCESS POINT your iPhone is connecting to unless you have a VPN installed. In which I highly recommend if anyone is going to be on company WIFI you get one because everything is tracked and your going to want to use the GUEST WIFI as much as possible to save on DATA And have better reception where your sitting in your area. Some times your don't need the GUEST WIFI and have exception LTE Or 4G - 5G coverage where they are at in the company building. But this can't be said about everyone.

Companies do change their GUEST WIFI Password every month, two, or three. I've never see a company go without changing it as - ex employees could sit outside in the parking lot and smooch off of the WiFi and burden the network or do illegal things while being on it. I DO NOT CONDONE THOSE THINGS IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM. So please when using the company GUEST WIFI. Don't do anything you wouldn't show your mom or granmother. The Guest WiFi is there as an option for guest's to be use such as VENDORs etc. A lot of companies if the Guest WiFi gets abused will hide SSID And then your out of luck unless again you have someone on the inside or an admnin who is will to give you that information but as always before careful when connecting to Guest WiFi at work, or on a company site because everything is tracked and recorded. Use caution and only use your iPhone on the GUEST WIFI do not use your laptop, person. As this will lead to IT getting threat alerts if you have any VIRUS's And Or MALWARE on your machine - which can lead to termination of the employee, simply use your iPhone on the Guest WIFI Network for your company.
