Making the iPhone Faster, be it your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, Or iPhone 5 is simple and easy. A lot of what the iphone has on it isn't needed and more so are people with tons of apps. Now I'm not gonna lie, the more information stored on the iPhone the slower it's going to act and respond. The solution isn't a one button solution but a mix of balance and having yourself make the call on what you really want to do with your iPhone versus what you think it can do. I myself love the iPhone and have an iPhone 4 that I use each and everyday. Keep in mind I've had every iPhone model and tried out - tested as well but always come back to my iPhone 4. With the iPhone the iOS takes up space, Pictures, Music, Notes, Apps, Webpages, Stored DATA, Etc. Remember just because your not using something doesn't mean it's not using you or in this case your iPhone. It's really simple what you can to speed up your iPhone and make it respond and act a lot quicker.

If your a business professional, then your not looking for pictures - music and apps. What your looking for is to use your eMail, notes, and be able to download business apps. This in return negates the Pictures - Music and increases speed of your iPhone. Another thing is using your own iTunes account and not having iTunes synch your iPhone from another iPhone be it your wifes or kids. This will negate yet again a lot of problems. Manage your APPs, another big thing is having the apps you use up front and the ones you don't get rid of them. Less apps means more processing power for everything else. Don't have more than two or three Safari browsers open at any one time or have it load to a certain home page right away. AT&T is big for this when it comes to their iPhones because they prompt the Safari page to load to http://att.yahoo.com/ which is a big complaint from a lot of iPhone users on AT&T apart from the "data" charges they get on their bill each and every month.

More steps for making your iPhone run faster, look in Settings > Towards the bottom of the Settings section is apps that keep what they call a database of use and information on your Phone if an app is storing data on your Phone it'll show up. Dominos, Bungie, Capital One, Chase, Etc are big for this. If you feel that those apps are storing to much data Delete. Yes I know, "well what's the point of deleting if I need it". Trust me you can visit the website on your iPhone or simply you don't need it. Greater step for making your iPhone faster or speeding it up. Go To Settings > Safari > Erase Cache And Erase History. Trust me when it comes to Safari, and Apple it's storing everything including your location. Which brings me to another big thing for making your iPhone faster or speeding it up. TURN OFF LOCATION SERVICES < Capitalized because I can't express enough how much more it'll make your iPhone faster or speed it up. When you have location services every app every webpage everything you do is being tracked and being located for you. Which is something you can read in my Privacy post on this site.

The last thing is really not filling up your iPhone to it's maxium capacity. If you have an 8GB iPhone then fill it to 6GB if you have 32GB then fill it 30GB, so on and so forth. The rule isn't so much to say hey don't use your iPhone but to better manage it. Remember over time things will need room, information will need to be stored and you'll need to have extra room for anything from notes to emails. Another reason why you need to make room on your iPhone and for all of us who use their iPhones as there point of contact for email whether your a business professional or an on the go person managing your email and deleting and moving stuff off of your iPhone to your gmail, yahoo, outlook, etc is a big thing. Remember if you have something personal that you need to do put it on your iPhone calendar and don't have your iPhone calendar synching with your outlook calendar or Google gmail calendar. Maintanence is the name of the game when it comes to speeding up your iPhone and having a better handle on your Device is really keeps and makes your iPhone faster for use with different Applications, uses, and things you will need to use it for. I always say the better you manage your phone the more years and better care it will take of you in the long run.
